Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CapContext (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

CapContext is a language learning application that provides audio clips from real-world content with AI-powered word explanations. The App offers both free and paid subscription tiers.

Account Registration

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts

Subscriptions and Payments

CapContext offers the following auto-renewable subscription options:

• Pro Monthly — billed monthly
• Pro Yearly — billed annually
• Pro Lifetime — one-time purchase for permanent access

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Any price changes will apply to subsequent billing periods.

Free Tier

Free users may access all audio content with a limited number of AI word explanations. Additional lookups require a Pro subscription.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
• Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App's content
• Use automated tools to access the App (bots, scrapers, etc.)
• Share your account credentials with others

Intellectual Property

The App, its design, features, and original content are owned by CapContext and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Audio clips are used under fair use for educational purposes.

AI-Generated Content

Word explanations are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for educational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any explanation.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CapContext shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
